Kazakhstan to participate in CSTO drills in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW. September 16. KAZINFORM /Narymbnek Ismagulov/ Command-and-staff training exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will take place September 19-22 in Tajikistan as a part of Tsentr 2011 strategic exercises.
According to the CSTO press secretary, the drills will be held at Lyaur 201 training centre of the Russian Armed Forces military base. The drills will bring together task forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
Besides, on September 19-22 Kyrgyzstan will host joint tactical maneuvers, as a part of Tsentr 2011 strategic exercises, involving units of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of Central Asian region of the CSTO.
