Kazakhstan to open ten int'l air routes - Transport Minister

ASTANA. February 1. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakhstan plans to open more than 10 international air routes, Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev told Wednesday.
It is expected to open flights from Astana to Baku, Tashkent, Ulan Bator, etc.
According to the Minister, 37 airlines operate in Kazakhstan. Eight of them provide regular passenger air service. 4.1 million passengers were transported in 2011. This is by 20.5 percent more than in 2010.
