Kazakhstan to modernize housing and public utilities infrastructure
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is believed to spend at least 200 billion tenge on modernization of infrastructure of the housing and public utilities annually.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced on Tuesday while delivering the new State-of-the-Nation Address at the Nazarbayev Center. "The infrastructure of the housing and public utilities has run down. It is necessary to allot at least 2 trillion tenge up until 2020 to solve the problem radically. This means we need to earmark 200 billion tenge annually," the Head of State stressed. According to the Kazakh leader, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank and private investors are interested in investing into housing and public utilities modernization.
