Kazakhstan to launch sulfate plant in 2014

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM As part of his working tour Akmola region governor Kosman Aitmukhametov has visited today a sulfate plant in Stepnogorsk town.

Its opening is set for the latter half of the year. The plant capacity is expected to reach 180 000 tons of sulfuric acid per year. The total project cost is KZT 12 bln 230 mln. According to the governor, this plant is one of the largest industrial projects of the region.
