Kazakhstan to launch electronic health passport system

ASTANA. April 23. KAZINFORM Kazakhstanis will get electronic health passports in the near future. This innovation is provided within the Concept of electronic healthcare development of Kazakhstan for 2013-2020.

"A digital health passport of every citizen of our country should be the central element of electronic healthcare system. It will contain key information about every citizen's health, gemografic and biometric data, innate diseases information, and allergy-immune status," Minister of Healthcare of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova has informed at the session of the Government today.

According to her, the electronic health passport will allow to find out detailed information about remedial measures, laboratory assessment's results regardless of time and place of visiting.

"The electronic health passport will be a part of the central data base program. The other systems will interact with it, " Kairbekova said.
