Kazakhstan to launch e-learning pilot project September 2011

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ An e-learning pilot projects will be launched in 44 educational institutions of Kazakhstan in September 2011. Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov announced it at the Governmental Hour in Majilis on Monday.

The Minister noted that e-learning is a brand new direction in Kazakhstan's education system. "In today's world it is perhaps the most rapidly developing sphere of education. Kazakhstan is going to keep up this trend. Expenditures for this project are a contribution to the future of our country, its human capital. KZT 136 billion will be allocated for this purpose," Zhumagulov stressed.
