Kazakhstan to invest in establishment of logistics centers in seafaring countries
ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM - In the future Kazakhstan to invest in the establishment of logistics centers in seafaring countries, this has been announced by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual address to the people of Kazakhstan.
"Transport infrastructure is the circulatory system of our industrial economy and society. I have repeatedly said that the developed country cannot exist without modern highways. Moreover, lines of communication are of high importance for Kazakhstan due to its great territory and geographical location", said the President.
The President noted that Kazakhstan started the construction of a number of motorways connecting the regions. "Western Europe-Western China" transit auto corridor's construction to be completed in the nearest future. There has been built a railway to Turkmenistan which will help to market Kzakhstani goods in the Gulf countries.
