Kazakhstan to increase agricultural production 1.5 times till 2020

ASTANA. October 10. KAZINFORM Physical volumes of agricultural production will increase 1.5 times till 2020, executive secretary of the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry Yevgeny Aman told a meeting of the Business Council on the development of the agro-industrial complex.
The new program Agribusiness-2020 developed by the Ministry will allow to increase physical volumes of agricultural production 1.5 times, raise labor productivity threefold, increase the export earnings from the sale of agricultural products by 20 percent. The program will ensure 80 percent food security on the basic food products through the domestic market.
