Kazakhstan to gather 13.5 mln tones of grain this year - Kurishbayev

ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ Kazakhstan will gather a harvest within 13.5 mln tones of grain, export potential will make up 7-8 mln tones.
Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev has said it at the Government's session.
According to him, "taking into account the carryover storage of grain this will be enough for ensuring domestic needs".
"The bulk yield was expected at the level of 13.5-14.5 mln tones. But in connection with dry weather conditions, the gross yield in bunker weight will be about 13.5 mln tones - it is the lower limit of the forecast", A.Kurishbayev said.
