Kazakhstan to forward KZT 7 bln to increase disability benefits in 2014

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM "Labour and Social Protection Ministry of Kazakhstan suggest inserting about 30 amendments to the law and 8 amendments to the codes concerning employment of disabled people," Minister Tamara Duisenova said today in Ust Kamenogorsk.
The minister said that the bill "On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on protection of the rights of people with disabilities" focuses on employment issues. "The key is the employment of the disabled and creating of new vacancies," the minister added. Besides, Tamara Duisenova said that disability benefits will grow by 7% since January 1, 2015, and by 15% more since July 1, 2015.
