Kazakhstan to export to EEU 100,000 cars

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - By 2020 Kazakhstan expects to export to Russia and Belarus (member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union) up to 100 thousand domestic cars, this has been informed by the president of the Association of Kazakhstan auto business (AKAB) Andrey Lavrentiev.

"Eurasian Economic Union opens new prospects for the domestic producers. By 2020 we expect to export 100,000 vehicles made in Kazakhstan", he said. "Kazakhstan's entry into the WTO will strengthen the state's competitiveness in international markets. We must join the organization on acceptable terms. Moreover, it is necessary to stimulate the development of domestic production and to work out a series of protective measures. All these questions have being discussed together with the Government and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs", said A. Lavrentiev.
