Kazakhstan to evacuate its citizens from flood-stricken Europe, if requested

ASTANA. June 3. KAZINFORM The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is ready to evacuate citizens of Kazakhstan from flood-stricken Central Europe, including the Czech Republic, if requested.

It has been announced today by press secretary of the ministry Nurzhan Aitmakhanov.

"There are no victims of floods among our compatriots in the Czech Republic according to Kazakhstan's diplomatic mission in Prague. Kazakhstan is ready to take necessary steps in order to evacuate its citizens, if requested," Mr. Aitmakhanov explained.

According to the European mass media, deadly floods have swept through Western and Central Europe, especially Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
