Kazakhstan to embark on a new growth trajectory in 2010: N.Nazarbayev
ASTANA. January 22. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "2010 should become the year of Kazakhstan's embarking on a trajectory of progressive growth", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today at the session f the Government in Akorda.
The Head of the State noted that upon the results of 2009 Kazakhstan was among "breakthrough" states. "Many states faced increase of external debt, budgets deficits, unemployment, great number of enterprises suspended work. I believe that we passed through the crisis without big losses, and our people didn't notice it", N.Nazarbayev noted.
"In 2010 we will address not less important issues. 2010 must become the year of Kazakhstan's embarking on the trajectory of progressive growth on the basis of implementation of our strategic development program by 2020", N.Nazarbayev said.
