“This issue is important for Kazakhstan economy, and we, of course, will discuss this situation with our Ukrainian partners through the diplomatic channels,” says Official Spokesperson of the Ministry Aibek Smadyarov.

On February 17, 2025, a civilian industrial facility of the international Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) - Kropotkinskaya oil pump station - was massively attacked by unmanned aircraft-type drones. No injuries among the personnel of the oil pump station were reported.

Despite that the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan assures that the massive drone attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) facility will not entail any risks for the Kazakh oil transportation, experts of the CPC believe that it may take from 1.5 to 2 months to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
