Kazakhstan to develop proposals on institutionalization of Single Economic Space bodies

ASTANA. January 29. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ A session of the Customs Union commission was held in Moscow yesterday. Kazakhstan was tasked to develop proposals on institutionalization of the bodies of the Single Economic Space. First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has made it public at the session of the Government today.

"The Customs Union commission deals with the issues of merchandise trade only. Services, capital, labor are the field of the Single Economic Space. In this regard, it is necessary to work out a mechanism alike the European Commission that would be headed by the Customs Union commission", U.Shukeyev said.

According to the First Vice Premier, it is necessary to optimize all structures of the EurAsEC.

Kazakh Premier K.Massimov in his turn charged U.Shukeyev to form a working group on proposals development and submit them for consideration of the Government.
