Kazakhstan to develop agricultural science concept

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has instructed to work out a concept for the development of agricultural science.
«I assign the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science to work out the concept of agricultural science development to meet the challenges posed by the Head of State and the long-term priority in the enhancement of agro-industrial complex», said Akhmetov at the board meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to his words, agricultural science is not attractive to young people.
«Kazakhstan is planning to create a world-class research university in the field of agriculture on the model of Nazarbayev University», concluded the Prime Minister.
