Kazakhstan to construct 522 schools till 2015 - Minister Zhumagulov
ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ 522 schools are to be constructed in Kazakhstan till 2015. Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov has announced it at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis.
"A transfer to a 12-year education adopted in the world is of principle in secondary education. For these purposes 427 schools to be constructed, 212 of them - by means of the national budget and 215 ones - by means of the local budget, 46 bridging schools and 49 schools instead of triple-shift and wrecking ones. KZT 167.4 bln is foreseen for this from the national budget for the first three years," the Minister said.
He informed that this year 82 schools will be constructed, 30 of them by means of the national budget, 52 - by means of the local budget.
