Kazakhstan to check national border with China in late 2014
ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan and China are to check the national border by the end of 2014, Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov said at the Thursday press briefing of the Central Communications Service in Astana.
"Kazakhstan has completed the demarcation of its national border with China and we are to examine the state of the borderline in late 2014," Minister Idrissov said.
In his words, the national borders with Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have been established as well. "We are also negotiating the demarcation of the Kazakhstani-Russian border. I believe it will take a lot of time to settle that issue because of the size of the national border between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation," the Head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry added.
