Kazakhstan to carry out forensic examination of Russian tourist body

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM A forensic examination of the body of the Russian tourist found in the Koksu River will be carried out in Taldykorgan, the emergency situations department of the Almaty region said.

As earlier reported, Roman Papirovsky of Samara oblast fell off the catamaran ship on May 5 while rafting on the Koksu River in the Almaty region. His rafting partners' attempts to save him failed due to the strong river current. After a while the tourist group lost sight of him. The body of the 36-year-old Russian man was found in four days, on May 9 at 21:15. The other tourists have already returned home. The parents of drowned Roman Papirovsky left for Kazakhstan.
