Kazakhstan to bring its history to Korea

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The State Korean Theater of Kazakhstan will give a performance telling the story of outstanding Kazakh poet Magzhan Zhumabayev and his wife Zlikha at the international festival in South Korea.
The artists say that the love story of Magzhan and Zlikha narrates how the woman's love saved and helped the poet during the years of total terror, arrests and executions. The founder of the Kazakh literature, great poet, teacher and translator Magzhan Zhumabayev was arrested and exiled to Karelia. The poet, who died at age 44, left a priceless legacy, Khabar reports.
