The weather in Kazakhstan is dictated by a northwestern cyclone which is expected to bring a mix of rain and snow.

The south and east will face heavy precipitation, while the rest of the country will see foggy and slippery conditions, high winds and blizzard, the national weather agency said in a statement.

Southwesterly wind will gust up to 30 mps in mountainous areas of the Zhambyl region.
