Kazakhstan to brace for dust storms, thunderstorms and scorching heat

A storm alert was issued for 17 regions of Kazakhstan as well as the cities of Almaty and Shymkent on August 9, Qazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.
Kazakhstan is reported to brace for sweltering temperatures, dust storms, thunderstorms, fog and high wind. The fire hazard remains high locally.
