Kazakhstan to brace for cold spell on May 12-14

An anticyclone from Scandinavia has brought a drop in air temperatures across Kazakhstan, Qazinform News Agency learned from Kazhydromet.
Fueled by cold air masses, it will continue to exert its influence in the coming days, keeping nighttime temperatures below zero in the northern, eastern, and central regions.
As the anticyclone moves across the country, frosts are also expected in the southeastern regions on the night of May 13.
