Kazakhstan to allocate KZT 2 bln for 7,000 e-textbooks in 2012, Minister

TANA. November 3. KAZINFORM "Next year Kazakhstan will allocate above KZT 2 bln for the creation of 7,000 electronic secondary school textbooks and books for technical and vocational schools," Kazakh Education and Science Minister Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov told addressing the V "Education Informatization" International Forum dated to the 20th anniversary of the country's independence.
It is planned to develop digital educational resources for secondary, technical and vocational education within the next three years within the e-learning program.
