Kazakhstan to advocate creation of a new nuclear non-proliferation treaty

ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ - Kazakhstan will pay a particular attention to the process of  nuclear disarmament,  Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tajin announced today at the plenary session of the EAPC. "Kazakhstan pays special attention to the process of nuclear disarmament and to the creation of nuclear-free zone in the Central Asia.", - told Mr.Tajin.

"Kazakhstan considers hosting of the international bank of nuclear fuel on its territory, which may serve as the new contribution to the nuclear non-proliferation goal. Next year during the high level meetings we will promote our initiatives for achievement of bigger efficiency on the world arena".

 "We will continue advocating the initiative of President N.Nazarbayev to conclude a new world treaty of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons", - said the Miniser.
