Kazakhstan tightens control over construction market
ASTANA. June 5. KAZINFORM From this year on unfair and unqualified construction companies will be put out of the construction market, Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Serik Nokin told the Government's session on Tuesday (June 5).
"Over the last years the quality of construction has attracted a great deal of criticism. We constantly tighten the norms of acting legislation in this respect," S. Nokin said.
According to him, a new system of licensing consisting of three categories has been introduced this year.
"Starting from this year we will put out unfair and unqualified construction companies from the market," the Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Construction and Housing and Public Utilities assured.
"Only the companies with a specific license, at least 5-year working experience and positive recommendations will be granted a permission to build multi-storied houses," he added.
