Kazakhstan threshed 4 mln tons of grain, Agriculture Ministry

ASTANA. August 24. KAZINFORM All the regions of Kazakhstan have started grain harvesting, the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry said.
As of August 24, 2012 farm producers have cropped 5 558.4 thousand ha that is 35.9% of the total harvesting area of the regions.
The region threshed 4 060.0 thousand ha of grain with average yield reaching 7.3 centners per ha.
