"Kazakhstan - the heart of Eurasia» photo exhibition held in Saudi Arabia
RIYADH. December 4. KAZINFORM On December 1, "Kazakhstan - the heart of Eurasia" photo exhibition dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Riyadh, which was organized by the Kazakhstan Embassy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.
The event was attended by prominent public figures of Saudi Arabia, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Riyadh, state and public organizations, enterprises and the media.
Ambassador Bakhyt Batyrshayev, in his welcome speech, touched on the biography of the First President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan's achievements in the international arena and Social and economic sphere under the leadership of the President.
Special emphasis was laid on N.Nazarbayev's balanced foreign policy, which allowed Kazakhstan to earn the high prestige on the world arena. Among the major international initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan, which earned the respect and appreciation of the international community, were rejection of the Soviet nuclear legacy and leadership in the disarmament process, launch of the G-Global communication platform, convening of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, etc.
Participants of the event received souvenirs, books and videos in Arabic and English languages.
