Kazakhstan Temir Zholy to increase Talgo trains speed up to 200 km/h

TANA. July 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC plans to increase the speed of Talgo trains from 140 km/h up to 200 km/h, a spokesman for Kazakhstan Temir Zholy said.
Russia has already launched two Sapsan trains running at speed 200 km/h. There are no high-speed trains traveling 200km per hour in the Customs Union. The task is to increase Talgo trains speed up to 200 km/h, he added.
