Kazakhstan supports reorganization of TurkPA commissions

In particular, the restructuring relates to the three commissions amongst four existing. Henceforth, international relations and legal issues will be addressed in the framework of a common commission. Economic, commercial and financial matters will be considered by the economic cooperation commission. Additionally, there will be created a commission for environment and natural resources. Commission on social, cultural and humanitarian issues remains unchanged. According to the Majilis speaker Kabibulla Dzhakupov, conservation of unique ecosphere of the Caspian Sea and the use of transboundary rivers are the priority issues of the commission for environment and natural resources. The plenary session also elected chairmen of the commissions. Commission for economic cooperation is chaired by the Kazakh Majilisman Serikzhan Kanalov, and Majilisman Nurlan Abdirov has become deputy chairman of the legal affairs and foreign relations. The session has adopted the Baku Declaration. The sixth plenary session of TurkPA will take place in Astana in June 2015.
