Kazakhstan succeeded in organizing OSCE Summit thanks to authority of Nursultan Nazarbayev - Alfred Gusenbauer
ASTANA. October 6. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received former President of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski and former Federal Chancellor of Austria Alfred Gusenbauer.
The sides shared the views on relevant issues of international importance, the Presidential press service informs.
Upon the completion of the meeting former Federal Chancellor of Austria expressed his admiration for the pace of construction held in Astana.
A. Gusenbauer also highly appraised the presidency of Kazakhstan in the OSCE.
'11 long years elapsed since the last summit of the OSCE and governments of many countries tried to organize the summit and they did not succeed but Kazakhstan did. This fact itself is an achievement. Secondly the Summit proves the importance of Kazakhstan in this authoritative Organization. I believe that Kazakhstan has succeeded in organizing it thanks to the authority of Nursultan Nazarbayev. Many Heads of State will come to the Summit because of personal respect for President Nursultan Nazarbayev', A. Gusenbauer emphasized.
Kazakhstan sets tolerance as a priority. A. Gusenbauer believes that it is very important accent because the problem of relations between representatives of different cultures, nationalities and religions is really vital, especially in Europe.
Former Chancellor of Austria thinks that the experience that Kazakhstan has in regard of being a multiethnic country is truly important for European countries because multiethnic community is not going to be an exception. Besides, Kazakhstan can contribute a lot to solving problems in this sphere especially as the OSCE presiding country.
A. Gusenbauer also highly appraised economic progress of Kazakhstan. He thinks the anti crisis program of Nursultan Nazarbayev can be an example for the other states.
