Kazakhstan Space industry lacks specialists: Head of ?Kazkosmos?

ALMATY. March 3. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ ?Space industry of Kazakhstan lacks specialists?, space pilot of the first rank, lieutenant general of aviation Talgat Musabayev said at the session of the Kazakh National Engineering Academy, held yesterday in Almaty. During the event he was awarded the title of ?Engineer of the Year? in ?Engineering and space industry? category, Kazinform reports.
It was noted that the lack of such personnel is a topical issue for our country. Kazakhstan strives to enter the rank of spacefaring nations of the world. One of the biggest spaceports of the world is located on the territory of the country that stimulates the development of this industry. T.Musabayev called the rectors of technical universities, participated in the session, to open corresponding departments and specialties of space engineers.
According to the Head of ?Kazkosmos?, ?Strategy of industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan by 2015?, approved by the Head of the State, is the guidepost of the further development of the space industry in the country.
