Kazakhstan set to strengthen interparliamentary ties with Japan

ASTANA. April 15. KAZINFORM Senate Speaker Kairat Mami is expected to make a working trip to Japan on 18-19 April.
Official spokesperson of the Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev told a weekly briefing in Astana on Monday.
"The aim of this visit is to discuss perspectives and strengthen bilateral interparliamentary cooperation," he added.
In addition, as the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Kairat Mami is to hold a number of meetings on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the religious forum and inform the public and business circles of Japan of the new "Kazakshtan-2050" Development Strategy.
