Kazakhstan sends humanitarian aid to southeast of Ukraine

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan sent humanitarian aid to the southeastern regions of Ukraine, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
Pursuant to the Kazakh President's instruction the Government allocated financial and material resources to render official humanitarian assistance to the southeastern regions of Ukraine. Thus, on January 10, Kazakhstan sent foodstuff worth KZT 69, 727, 875, including tinned meat, sugar, buckwheat, vegetable oil. On October 6, 2014, the Kazakh Government transferred its membership fee up to USD 30,000 to the International Committee of the Red Cross for the humanitarian needs of Ukraine.
