Kazakhstan's Wounded Angel wins big at European Film Market 2014
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Emir Baigazin and his new project Wounded Angel won big at the European Film Market 2014 in Berlin, the press service of Kazakhfilm JSC reports.
During the awarding ceremony, André de Margerie of TV network ARTE presented a $6.000 prize and praised the talent of Baigazin, a young director from Kazakhstan, and the work of dynamic crew of international producers.
E.Baigazin gathered a new producing team to develop his new project, including Beibitzhan Muslimov, Anna Vilgelmi, Alex Chang (Switzerland) and French Film Company Capricci Films.
"The ARTE award means that the project sparked intense interest and got a quality mark. It was really exciting to get the award. It is a great support for the team which is working hard in Kazakhstan right now," Baigazin noted.
