Kazakhstan's Turssynbayeva wins Merano Cup in Italy

KYZYLORDA. KAZINFORM Elizabeth Turssynbayeva won a gold medal at the Merano Cup, an annual figure skating competition held in Merano, Italy. First held in 1997, it traditionally takes place in the fall.
It brought together 24 sportsmen from 9 countries, the physical culture and sport department of Kyzylorda region said. As earlier reported, Elizabeth Turssynbayeva grabbed a silver medal at the Youth Grand Prix in Japan and bronze at the tournament in Germany.
