Kazakhstan's permanent rep takes part in UNWTO session in Spain
ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Permanent Representative of the country in the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Bakhyt Dyussenbayev took part in the 93rd session of the UNWTO Executive Committee on June 12-13 in Madrid.
Felipe, Prince of Asturias and José Manuel Soria, Spanish Minister for Industry, Energy and Tourism participated in the UNWTO session together with the delegations of the member countries.
The session focused on the current situation in the sphere of tourism. The participants learnt about positive shifts in international tourism. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of UNWTO, told about the work done to integrate the tourism topic into the global agenda and cooperation with UN organizations.
Upon results of the session, it was decided to hold the next 94th UNWTO Executive Committee meeting in Mexico in autumn 2012.
