Kazakhstan's national debt hits $28.8 bln

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - National debt of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reached USD 28.8 billion as of January 1, 2014.
Kazakhstan's Vice Premier and Minister of Finance Mr. Bakhyt Sultanov made it public at the Thursday meeting of the board of the ministry.
"The national debt increased to 12.8% of GDP and made KZT 4.4 trillion, or USD 28.8 billion as of January 1, 2014," B. Sultanov said.
