ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan enjoys fast and rapid development of information technologies that is the result of good planning," board member of the Estonian e-Governance Academy Arvo Ott told Kazinform at the opening of Connect Kazakhstan Eurasian forum in Astana.
"Kazakhstan succeeded in this sphere, for example, it is noteworthy, the country's population has access to a wide range of services, including e-government, internet banking, etc. Kazakhstan ranks 8th in the international rating of IT development index," he added.
"It is necessary to note the state support to the development of e-government program in Kazakhstan that bespeaks for benefits as introduction of innovations, raising of efficiency of the state and transparency of the President and Government's activities," Mr Ott noted.
