ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan's in-migration soared by 30%," head of the Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov announced at a briefing in Astana today.
"The first cause of the in-migration is the process of urbanization. The second one is resettlement of man power to the centres of economic growth, namely, Astana and Almaty cities, the Atyrau, Mangystau and Aktobe regions and realization of the Employment Roadmap 2020 programme. It helps vulnerable social groups, self-employed, jobless receive education and move to the regions that need relevant labor," he said.
