Kazakhstan's grain exports to China hit 90 thousand tons in 2013

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The volume of Kazakhstan's grain exports to China exceeded 90 thousand tons in 2013.
This was announced by First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev at the Tuesday press briefing at the Central Communications Service. "Last year the total volume of Kazakhstan's grain exports to the Chinese market exceeded the mark of 90 thousand tons," Mr. Sagintayev said. In his words, a joint grain terminal is planned to be erected on the Sino-Kazakhstani border. He also added that Kazakhstani enterprises traditionally export copper, ferrochrome, and iron ore to China. "In 2014, Kazakhstan is expected to export 154 thousand tons of copper to China," B. Sagintayev concluded.
