Kazakhstan's GDP growth in January-August 2010 made 7.9%

ASTANA. October 13. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The GDP growth in Kazakhstan in January-August 2010 made up 7.9%. Chairman of the Agency for Statistics Alikhan Smailov has made it public at a briefing today.
The Head of the Agency noted that the short-term economic indicator in January-September 2010 was 108% compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
The industrial output during the reported period was KZT 8 trln 431 bln that was 10.4% more compared to January-September last year.
