Kazakhstan's forecast geological reserves reach USD 9 bln

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Forecast geological reserves of Kazakhstan reached USD 9 bln," Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Nuraln Sauranbayev.
"The point at issue is that there are precise figures reflecting the minerals placed on the balance sheet. There is a notion as the forecast reserves. So geologists multiplied the reserves by the current prices to get about USD 9 bln. The same time I would like to not the country boasts a huge potential," he added at the Central Communications Service in Astana.
