Kazakhstan's Embassy to the USA held Doors Open Day

ASTANA. May 17. KAZINFORM The Embassy of Kazakhstan to the USA in association with an American cultural-educational organization 'Cultural Tourism DC' held a Doors Open Day within the framework of an annual tour of the Embassies in the USA, the press service of the Embassy of Kazakhstan informs.

Around 1500 citizens of Washington and guests of the city had an opportunity to visit the Embassy of Kazakhstan to get familiarized with the history of the country, traditions of the nation and modern achievements in political, economic and international dimensions.

There were exhibitions of antique things of people who inhabited the territory of Kazakhstan in the past. People really appreciated the exhibits. People were allowed to take pictures of the exhibits. The masterpieces of Kazakh jewelers were also demonstrated which was also appreciated by the women who came there.

The exhibition contained a yurt with all the unique things of life of the Kazakh people. Here, the guests could see the national costumes, headgears, weapons, etc.

The third part of the exhibition was dedicated to modern Kazakhstan. It was a photo exhibition about our country. Beautiful places of Almaty and unique architecture of Astana will become vivid memories for the guests of the event.

A film about our country was also demonstrated for the guests on this day.

The guests expressed gratitude for warm reception to the Embassy and their appreciation for an opportunity to get familiarized with rich history of Kazakhstan, cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan and modern achievements of the country.
