Kazakhstan's educational system to undergo changes
UST-KAMENOGORSK. January 28. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ At the new stage of Kazakhstan's social modernization the educational system of the country will undergo qualitative changes. Special attention will be paid to training of specialists. President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev said it in his annual State-of-the-nation Address on Friday.
N.Nazarbayev said that 12-year education is introduced in the country. All Kazakhstani children will be provided with qualitative pre-school education by 2020 as well. The material base of vocational schools will be modernized while higher educational institutions are to be transited to a model of innovative universities. Intellectual schools, according to the President, should become the basis for educating the talented children of Kazakhstan.
