Kazakhstan's economic growth exceeded 8% in H1

ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan's economic growth in the first half of the year made over 8 per cent. Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public at the III Astana Economic Forum today.
"The results of the last year showed that Kazakhstan prevented the recession and preserved the economic growth. In the first half-year the growth of GDP made more than 8%", the President emphasized.
"The current crisis has become a serious challenge for us. But due to the timely and consistent implementation of economy modernization strategy we overcame it with honor", the Head of the State added.
