Kazakhstan's drug companies target 50% domestic market share

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Next year we will reach a goal of occupying 50% of the domestic market share," head of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of Kazakhstan Association Serik Sultanov said today in Astana.
"19 allied products factories were put on-stream; seven production lines were awarded GMP certificates of conformity for the years of realization of the country's pharmaceutical industry development program for 2010-2014. This year we provided 38% of the country's inner market with own products and next year we plan to take a 50% niche," he added at the solemn GMP and CDP certificate-awarding ceremony.
