Kazakhstan's colleges to introduce dual education, Sarinzhipov

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan plans to introduce dual education in half of the country's state colleges in three years to come," Education and Science Minister of Kazakhstan Aslan Sarinzhipov said a conference in Astana.

There are 176 colleges are known to implement dual education system elements now embracing 44,000 students majoring in 83 disciplines. The ministry sets a task to introduce dual education in 50% of state agricultural colleges, economic and engineering schools, etc. According to him, the ministry has signed for the time a three-year memo with akimats of the regions, Astana and Almaty cities to achieve target indicators and coordinate the ministry's and akimats' work.
