Kazakhstan's Baiterek Holding and Bahraini Mumtalakat vow to boost coop
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Baiterek National Holding of Kazakhstan and Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding signed a memo of cooperation at today's Kazakhstan-Bahrain: Strategic Partnership business forum held as part of the official visit of the King of Bahrain to Kazakhstan.
The parties expressed interest in investments into the processing industry, agriculture, tourism, banking and financial sectors, as well as through the Islamic funding, small and medium business, machine manufacturing and other economic sectors. The sides are expected to focus soon on the most promising projects short of investments. Those gathered debated also setting up of the fund of infrastructure projects aimed at supporting large infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan. As stated there, Bahrain is referred to as a financial hub of the Middle East region and this forum opens up access for Kazakhstani business to the essential pool of investors, including newly-established direct investments funds with participation of the Kazyna Capital management.
