Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev advances in Tokyo

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Andrey Golubev has sneaked into round two of the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Kazinform has learned from Vesti.kz.
In the first-round match 27-year-old Golubev routed Pierre-Hugues Herbert from France 6:4, 6:4. The Kazakh tennis player needed 1h 26min to defeat Herbert in straight sets. Both athletes made 4 double faults. Golubev hit 2 aces, whereas his opponent served 7 aces. Golubev may face either Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov or American Jack Sock in the second round game.
